How to activate cruise control with Op-com V1.45

Cruise control is a system that automatically controls the speed of a motor vehicle. The system is able to take over the throttle of the car to maintain a steady speed as set by the driver.

Tools needs:
Op-com (firmware V1.45, software 2010V) diagnostic interface
A laptop running windows XP operating system

Here are the step-by-step instructions:
NOTE: Instructions may have a slightly difference because some year/model Opel and Vauxhall vehicle need Security code to enable Body Control Module.

For vehicle that does not need security code:

1)    Install OP-COM cable software
2)    Plug the diagnostic cable into the diagnostic socket
3)    Run op-com software, select Diagnostic function in the main menu
 TAGS:undefined
4)    Select year of vehicle
5)    Select vehicle model
6)    Select engine code
7)    Select programming
8)    Select variant configuration
9)    Select cruise control
10)    Click perform coding
11)    Change from not present to present on the drop down menu
12)    Close program and enjoy your new cruise control

For vehicle that needs security code:

1)    Install OP-COM cable software
2)    Plug the diagnostic cable into the diagnostic socket
3)    Run op-com software, select Diagnostic function in the main menu
4)    Select year of vehicle
5)    Select vehicle model
6)    Select vehicle Body
 TAGS:undefined
7)    Select Body Control Module
8)    Select programming
9)    Select variant configuration
10)    Manually enter Security Code
11)    Click Next button and you will see Cruise Control menu
12)    Change from not present to present on the drop down menu
13)    Click Program button to start coding
14)    Close the program and enjoy your new cruise control.
